Mozart

WOLFGANG MOZART was born as Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart on January 27, 1756. He was a prolific music composer and his repertoire includes more than 600 works. He is one of the most popular classical era composers.
Mozart showed an inclination towards the arts from a young age. Born in Salzburg (in present day Austria), he could play the keyboard and violin by the age of five and performed before the European royalty. By the time he turned 17, he was employed as a court musician in Salzburg, but he quit the job and travelled in search of a better position, always composing abundantly.
Mozart finally cought a break in 1781, when his opera Idomeneo premiered and received acclaim in Munich. He spent his final years in Vienna, where he composed many of his best symphonies, concertos and operas. The musical genius died on December 5, 1791, at the age of 35 as a result of extreme illness.
