Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Diary of Wimpy Kid” Written by Jeff Kinney is a great insight into the mind of a scrawny middle school kid. This unique piece of literature is nothing like any diary or novel about middle school kids. It’s not a traditional novel. It‘s not a graphic novel and it certainly isn’t a comic book. The front cover description “a novel in cartoons” is a fitting description of this engaging journal of a middle school kid.

Author Jeff Kinney started this book as a gift to fun brain. Com website, a children’s site that educates in math and science and other subjects and later developed into this humorous masterpiece.

The novel tracks the life of a middle school not very popular kid, Greg Heffley.

Fortunately for us, he has kept a journal (forced by his mother, as he makes it very clear) of all his embarrassing moments throughout various schemes with his best friend, Rowley. They do everything together, from playing video games to creating a haunted house in Rowley’s basement. Life in middle school is tough, especially for kids like Gerg. With a dimwitted best friend and the kind of parents who insist you participate in the school play, the chance of getting through middle school embarrassment-free is almost none.

The diary of Wimpy kid is downright hilarious. With funny, sarcastic cartoons on every page, you will be laughing your pants off from start to finish. All the various characters of novel standout well and are definitely attractive parts of Wimpy kid’s world. This book can be enjoyed by children and adults alike as we spiral down the adventurous world of Greg.
