Mritunjay Sharma: Calling the tune

Mritunjay Sharma, a B. Com student from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi, recently claimed a title in the Limca Book of Records for the longest piano recital. Polish pianist Romulad Koperski held the previous record for playing the instrument for 103 hours. As per reports, Sharma played for more than 104 hours. He was allowed five-minute breaks after every hour and his entire performance was recorded on video. His entry will also be sent to the Guinness world book of records.

Did you know?

Sharma also played on his synth for 52 hours to enter the Limca Book of Records in March 2015.
