Books, What are They?

People say books are our best friends,
But for them we have to pay as well.

Books are made up pf paper,
that we get from trees’ wrapper.

Books like to be used,
but to read we all make excuse.

Our course book we hate to read,
But magazines are welcome always.

Books give us knowledge,
But to gain it or not is our choice.

When they are not in use,
They are treated as enemy
By many youths.

When books grow old,
they are often sold.

Do we buy and sell our friends?
So how can we sell books, our best friends?
